Blue Derby Wild
A community collaboration run by volunteers passionate about protecting our wild places, Gondwana forests and building a future for the Derby region.
We reached out to Louise at Blue Derby Wild to offer our services to help fight for the threatened forests of North East Tasmania, full of carbon-rich tall wet eucalypt forests, heathlands, alpine meadows and moraine vegetation. These forests are on the precipice of being logged – a forest that intertwines with the beloved and world-renowned mountain biking haven, Blue Derby (a favourite of ours).
We helped the team at Blue Derby Wild create a coherent, visual messaging package for their social media posts for the Supreme Court Case to end native forest logging in the North East, and to help them rally support from not just the environmentally conscious, but also the bike riders from around the globe that love being amongst the trees, scooting down trails at Blue Derby.
