Hunting Ground Gravel
Branding for Tasmania’s newest gravel cycling race in Kempton, and event that features a short and long course gravel race, and junior gravel criterium.
Starting in the quiet Tasmanian town of Kempton, the Hunting Ground Gravel race heads around some winding, lovely, but steep gravel roads, which are sure to test competitors.
Featuring a short course of 40km, a full-length course of 75km and an U13 Gravel Criterium, Hunting Ground Gravel has something to offer all ages and fitness levels.
It was important that the branding was inclusive, represented all parties involved, showed the heritage of the area and created a fun and inviting visual identity for all who wished to race.
The host venue and major partner, The Old Kempton Distillery provided an amazing place for supporters and racers alike, to relax prior, during and after the event, with great hospitality, wood fired pizzas and of course, drinks.
The Hobart Wheelers & Dirt Devils Cycling Club and Old Kempton Distillery collaborated in also bringing to life a boutique herringbone Flat Cap for participants, which is a fantastic memoir and touchpoint to gain interest for next year’s race.
A great inaugural event that we hope only grows and flourishes in the future.
