kunanyi Challenge
Set in Hobart's backyard, the kunanyi Challenge is a physical, steep, timed bike race to the top of kunanyi (Mount Wellington).
Riders kick off the start line at the Longley International Pub on Huon Road, before proceeding onto a closed Pillinger Drive to either the pinnacle of kunanyi.
Run by Hobart Wheelers Cycling Club, they wanted to present the event with its own identity and feel of both the location and road that riders go up.
We crafted an illustration of the Organ Pipes, and using the many switchbacks kunanyi has on offer for insipiration for the slanted type blocks.
