Spirit of Tasmania Cycling Tour

Fresh, bold branding, a shiny new website and a full suite of signage, social media graphics for one of the oldest and most prestigious cycling events in Tasmania.

First raced in 1930, The Spirit of Tasmania Cycling Tour has a rich history in the Tasmanian and Australian cycling scene and has served as a launch pad for champions including Cadel Evans, Richie Porte and Justine Barrow. Today, the Tour features tough hills, stunning coastlines and sweeping plains in a multi-day event across the state’s north.

With fresh faces in the management saddle, the Tour required a new standalone identity to elevate the premier event in AusCycling’s National Road Series (NRS) and increase appeal for professional teams and athletes, government and the wider community.

We developed a striking brand identity with green and blue hues representing Tasmania’s scenery and a strong typeface that is easily visible across all mediums, from the shiny new website, printed signage from bib numbers to posters, an 80-page race guide, social media graphics, and more.
